THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS WHAT I’M GIVING MY ATTENTION TO RIGHT NOW

I’m not a failure, I’m just learning more.
Nothing is wrong, in fact everything is going perfectly right.
I don’t need to hold onto the thoughts that cause more pain, I can relax and allow feelings that bring relief.
This situation doesn’t need to cause me despair, I can activate the aspects that have positive benefits.
That conversation need not bother me, I can remember having discussions that thrilled me beyond description.
The person who did something that was disrespectful or hurtful, isn’t doing that because of who I am, they’re just expressing where they’re currently at.
It’s not necessary to be critical of who I was being yesterday, I can pay more attention to what I already do well now.
I don’t have to focus on the worst, I can keep reaching for something a little bit better.
I’m not always disconnected, quite often I feel the fullness of “all that is”. ~ ER
